We are hiring for a Senior Mechanical QA/QC Agent in the following states: Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona. As part of our Mission Critical team, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Requirements

  • Technical or associate degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, engineering, or construction management from an accredited technical institution, college, or commensurate design or field experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in mechanical service or mechanical equipment testing.
  • A minimum of five (5) year in mission critical and a minimum of two (2) years in the hyperscale space.
  • Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including HVAC, fire protection, technology, instrumentation and controls, and processes.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art critical systems, including building monitoring systems, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, RTUs, pumps, and fans.
  • Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and commissioning process delivery of applicable equipment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of electrical codes, standards, specifications, and shop drawings with the ability to interpret them.
  • Proficiency in utilizing applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test and measurement equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and state-required vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving quality control challenges and completing tasks assigned, including developing and implementing quality control process delivery plans based on information outlined in the owner’s project requirements, basis of design, design and construction documents, as well as information gathered from users and project partners, field surveys, specifications, shop drawings, and code research.
  • Mentoring and fostering the development of team members with less experience.
  • Responding to questions that may arise across multiple site locations.
  • Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices, including assisting general contractors and their site superintendents with inspections as required.
  • Deliver a daily report detailing completed tasks or inspections and adeptly provide information regarding issues supported by codes or standards.
  • Collaborate in a team environment, including carrying out appropriate follow-through with others, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback.
