As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in our Restoration & Renewal Practice, you will independently lead complex building system evaluations, renovation solutions, and mechanical system upgrades. You will mentor staff, guide project technical direction, and contribute to client engagement and proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
  • 6+ years of mechanical engineering design experience, ideally focused on existing building system evaluation, renovation or adaptive reuse projects.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex challenges and develop engineering approaches.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and desire to grow into a technical leader.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major mechanical system evaluations and upgrade solutions on complex projects.
  • Prepare technical deliverables, reports, and documentation that communicate clearly with clients and teams.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team growth and technical excellence.
  • Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and client-facing opportunities.
