Job Summary: TechSource, a Salas O’Brien Company, is hiring a full-time Senior HVAC Engineer to serve as the technical subject matter expert to identify candidates and work scope for future business growth. conduct construction document reviews and work on large-scale projects from planning to execution phases supporting Department of Energy (DOE) facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 7 or more years of HVAC engineering experience in nuclear facilities, including project management experience.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Working knowledge of federal (including DOE Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to HVAC design and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Active DOE Q or Top Secret security clearance.
  • DOE/NNSA work experience or knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Identify candidates and work scope for large HVAC projects at two Department of Energy facilities.
  • Provide HVAC technical direction to engineers.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate process/engineering team/design projects from inception to project startup.
