The position is onsite at our Greenville and Liberty, South Carolina facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline, or an associate’s degree (2-year) with experience from accredited program (ABET/EAC).
  • 5+ years’ work experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Experienced with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD).
  • Proficient in the application of standard and advanced engineering principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Has sufficient knowledge to supervise others.
  • Breadth and depth of experience to enterprise engineering problems.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish tasks.
  • Able to quickly recognize and fix common engineering problems based on experience, including review and critique of others' work.
  • Able to lead discipline specific teams and influence project direction and progress.
  • Viewed as a technical expert in the department.
  • May serve as a mentor/coach for developing engineers.

Nice To Haves

  • FE Exam, or EIT desirable
  • Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.
