About The Position

Wood is currently seeking an expression of interest for upcoming Senior
Mechanical Engineering to join our Canada Projects business delivering some of
the world's boldest and most critical projects. This opportunity is hybrid.

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team
in our office based in Sarnia, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager of Mechanical
Department, the role supports Wood’s future and ongoing projects. The Senior
Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and updating mechanical
specifications, technical documentation, and equipment data sheets, as well as
managing RFQs and evaluating supplier bids. This role will provide technical
assessments and support decision-making throughout the mechanical engineering
process.

Wood’s Projects business delivers some of the world's boldest and most critical
projects, embracing many diverse and evolving sectors, from Oil, Gas & New
Energies and Process & Chemicals, to Minerals, Metals & Life Sciences. We
provide a full suite of services including project management, engineering, EPC,
EPCM and project delivery, working in close collaboration with our colleagues in
Consulting and Operations to ensure we are responsive to the needs of our
clients through an integrated lifecycle proposition.

• Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position is $107,000 CAD to $150,000 CAD. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.
