Fresh Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with NX skills for a consumer electronics company. Fresh Consulting is a design-led, software development, and hardware engineering company offering end-to-end digital services. They bring together UX designers, developers, digital strategists, and engineers to help companies create fresh experiences. This role is crucial for managing the delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent industry experience.
5+ years of industry experience in mechanical design, with demonstrated track record of shipping high‑volume commercial products and/or designing complex electromechanical assemblies in a research/prototype environment.
Demonstrated experience leading the design of complex assemblies and systems from concept to production.
Expertise using NX/Teamcenter as a primary CAD software.
Expertise in 3D/2D CAD, DFM/DFA, GD&T, material properties, and high-volume manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

Lead exploration, prototyping, maturing and implementation of new technologies into functional medium volume prototypes to validate technical and product level functionality, use cases and tech maturity.
Work alongside a diverse and expert XFN team consisting of EE, FW/SW, Audio, Optical engineers.
Lead technology development projects through creation of functional prototypes, development of test methods.
Support RnD projects (NTI and NPI) through the design of systems and test vehicles for new technology introduction studies and technology development.
Design product components and systems for consumer electronics.
Design electromechanical and optomechanical systems for device testing and validation.
Develop and implement test methods for design validation.
Contribute to creation of technical specifications and product definition.
Work closely with XFN team consisting of EE, FW/SW/, Audio, Optical, REL, MfgEng.
