About The Position

This role is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer within the North America Automotive High-Voltage Engineering team. The position focuses on designing and developing contactor solutions for electric vehicle applications, working closely with North American automotive customers and suppliers. The engineer will independently manage customer relationships while ensuring designs align with both customer requirements and Sensata’s global engineering standards and technology roadmaps. The engineer will serve as a senior level mechanical engineer supporting the North American Automotive high voltage engineering team. Independently manage technical relationships with NA Automotive customers and suppliers. Design and develop contactors to meet specific customer and application requirements. Apply a strong understanding of electric vehicle architecture, with particular emphasis on high voltage systems and contactors. Collaborate closely with global engineering teams to ensure product designs remain aligned with global technology roadmaps and engineering strategies.
