Deliver Quality Cuts and Exceptional Service Every Day As a Senior Meat Cutter at Sam’s Club, you’ll play a key role in preparing fresh cuts, maintaining strong food safety standards, and creating a service experience members can count on. Your expertise helps drive sales, consistency, and satisfaction. In this role, you’ll spend your day cutting, grinding, and packaging fresh meat, maintaining product freshness and inventory levels, and supporting a high-volume environment while delivering a great member experience.
Requirements
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience working with fresh meat and cutting techniques
- Take pride in craftsmanship, freshness, and presentation
- Keep member satisfaction as a top priority
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable using equipment and following safety guidelines
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs
- Available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Bring a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Cut, slice, grind, and prepare meat products according to specifications
- Ensure freshness, quality, and proper rotation according to company standards.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels, reduce shrink, and properly handle and store merchandise
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment safely and effectively
- Stock and organize displays to ensure products are available and visually appealing
- Assist members with product selection and provide expert recommendations
- Support a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
