About The Position

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior MBSE Systems Engineer to work on-site on a government contract for a client located in Dedham, MA. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses, developing system security documentation, and providing system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support. The engineer will develop and evaluate systems, networks, and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications. This position supports the generation of technical engineering products throughout the system development life cycle and influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework used across multiple products or systems. The role serves as a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying next-generation strategic systems using cutting-edge MBSE methodologies and digital engineering practices. Additionally, the engineer will identify opportunities to apply MBSE and AI-driven approaches for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

Top Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Systems and Test Engineering, Requirements Management, and Agile Development.
Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including direct hands-on experience with industry-leading MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams.
Experience applying MBSE to architect complex systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis.
Possesses a clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards with an MBSE-first mindset.
Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next Generation) and their integration with system models.
Creative thinker who can leverage MBSE models to quickly communicate complex system designs and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
