About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through our world-class curriculum, the Mathnasium Method™. This method is the result of decades of hands-on instruction and development, transforming children's lives since 2002. As a Senior Math Instructor, you will work with a variety of students across different grade levels in a flexible, part-time capacity. All instruction takes place at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development outside of work. This role offers an excellent opportunity for current teachers, retired teachers, and college students seeking to share their passion for math.

Requirements

Strong math proficiency through calculus.
Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
Previous math teaching or tutoring experience is required.
Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Must provide work authorization.
Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
