Senior Material Handler
About The Position
As part of our logistics and operations team, employees will work collaboratively to manage the movement of pump deliveries and returns across multiple dock locations on campus. Shift is Sunday thru Thursday: 7:30am to 4:30pm with 1 hours lunch Responsibilities include: Locating and unloading pump deliveries from pallets and crates using pallet jacks and power tools. Scanning deliveries using company-issued devices and transporting them to designated laydown areas.Identifying return items, preparing them for shipment by crating and palletizing, scanning them, and staging them for pickup. Handling small parts and processing returns using the work computer system. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to operate basic tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
- Current or prior MHE certification
