About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the end-to-end physical and system-based movement of goods. This role ensures seamless logistics operations—from receiving to shipping—while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and organizational culture.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two or more years experience
  • Proven work experience in warehouse operations or material handling in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy and traceability

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily material handling operations including receiving, stocking, picking & kitting, and shipping.
  • Work with the team to improve current system, functions, and daily operations to more effectively meet goals
  • Maintain system critical data elements
  • Perform materials analysis and maintains records as required in support of cycle counting and reconciliation activities to maintain high inventory accuracy
  • Read work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
  • Load and unload materials onto or from trays, racks, and shelves by hand
  • Convey materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of carts, bins, or other device.
  • Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system
  • Maintain full material traceability, labeling, and documentation to support audits, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Work under general supervision on duties and tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity
