About The Position

JELD-WEN's Pataskala facility is currently hiring for 3rd Shift team members for the Senior Material Handler position. This role involves picking material for the assembly of door units, verifying product details, scanning products, staging inventory, and assisting with material movement and warehouse organization. The position requires driving and maintaining order picker equipment and following all safety, quality, and shipping procedures. Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with team assistance.
• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift on hard surfaces.
• Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, and climb while accessing materials and operating equipment.
• Read and interpret production paperwork, work instructions, and product labels.
• Accurately record and maintain inspection and production information.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Work overtime when required, including on short notice, to support production demands.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Demonstrate dependability, strong attendance, and teamwork.

• Previous manufacturing and material handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick material needed for assembly of door units.
• Verify product details, descriptions, and item numbers.
• Scan products to and from inventory system by product.
• Stage inventory and raw materials for the following day's production.
• Assist with material movement and warehouse organization as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
• Drive and maintain order picker equipment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Support team members by helping identify and resolve operational issues.
• Follow standard work procedures and operating instructions.
• Conduct visual inspections during processing, staging, and loading activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
• Support additional operational duties as assigned.
