Senior Master Scheduler

BarnesEast Granby, CT

About The Position

The Senior Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all product families. This role involves converting customer demand, forecasts, and backlog into executable production plans, ensuring schedules are capacity-feasible and aligned with labor, machine, and material constraints. The position requires maintaining rolling planning horizons, balancing forecast demand with customer orders and inventory targets, and coordinating with sales and demand planning to adapt to changes. The Senior Master Scheduler will also evaluate rough-cut capacity planning, identify constraints, and propose solutions, while working with operations leadership to level load production and partnering with procurement to ensure material availability. Driving improvements in planning processes using Lean and S&OP principles, improving schedule stability, and leading initiatives for forecast accuracy and inventory optimization are key aspects of this role.
