About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to manage and execute The Clear Blue Company’s (CBC) day-to-day marketing initiatives. We are looking for an experienced, technically sound individual with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborate across teams, and execute at a high level – someone who shares our values, our passion for serving our residents, and our commitment to the mission of solving the affordable housing crisis. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, this person will serve as the primary day-to-day marketing point of contact supporting CBC’s Development, Asset Management, Capital, and Construction teams. This role is responsible for executing CBC’s established marketing and brand strategy across corporate communications, digital and content, PR, events, property marketing, and other company-wide marketing initiatives. The Senior Marketing Manager will also manage CBC’s Resident First Events Analyst and external marketing vendors and partners. Mission Lead the execution of CBC’s marketing strategy by delivering consistent, high-quality marketing initiatives that strengthen the company’s brand, support business growth, elevate Resident First, and position CBC as the leader in affordable housing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6–8+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within real estate, development, private equity, professional services, or another complex B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and executing integrated marketing initiatives across brand, communications, digital, content, PR, events, and collateral.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling communications.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing agencies, creative partners, vendors, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop junior team members.
  • Strong creative judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable independently moving work forward within established strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute CBC’s corporate marketing strategy, priorities, budgets, and goals
  • Manage the company-wide marketing calendar and coordinate priorities across teams
  • Maintain consistency with CBC’s established brand messaging, standards, and visual identity
  • Manage external vendors and partners providing marketing and creative support to CBC
  • Manage marketing budgets, invoicing, timelines, and evaluation of ongoing vendor relationships
  • Manage CBC’s PR, communications, content, and digital marketing efforts
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with CBC’s PR agency and execution of national and local press strategies
  • Coordinate leadership thought leadership, media opportunities, awards, speaking engagements, and other external visibility efforts
  • Manage CBC’s editorial and content calendar, including corporate social media strategy and execution
  • Draft and coordinate company announcements, press releases, talking points, award submissions, executive communications, and other external-facing materials
  • Manage CBC’s website and oversee ongoing digital content and creative needs
  • Develop and maintain CBC’s corporate, property, and business-line marketing assets
  • Manage corporate and deal-level collateral supporting acquisitions, development, capital relationships, investor communications, and business development
  • Partner with Development and Asset Management on property branding, naming, signage, collateral, photography, digital assets, lease-up materials, and other property marketing needs
  • Support CB Construction and other CBC-affiliated businesses with collateral, digital content, project storytelling, and marketing needs
  • Coordinate designers, photographers, videographers, printers, and other creative partners to execute marketing deliverables
  • Maintain organized and current brand assets, templates, photography, presentations, and marketing collateral
  • Manage CBC’s corporate events, conferences, sponsorships, and external engagements
  • Coordinate conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other industry opportunities
  • Manage associated deadlines, registrations, sponsorship deliverables, collateral, signage, presentations, and event materials
  • Coordinate talking points, presentations, and other preparation required for leadership participation
  • Partner with CBC’s PR agency and internal leadership on execution of identified speaking and external engagement opportunities
  • Manage the Resident First Events Analyst and oversee marketing support for Resident First initiatives
  • Manage the Resident First Events Analyst, including priorities, workload, goals, development, and accountability
  • Ensure Resident First events are planned and executed consistently across participating properties
  • Oversee messaging, creative, invitations, signage, photography, and communications supporting Resident First events
  • Ensure Resident First activities, outcomes, and stories are captured for use across CBC communications and marketing channels
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing partner to teams across CBC
  • Partner with team leads to understand marketing needs and translate requests into clear scopes, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage multiple concurrent marketing projects from request through completion
  • Proactively identify needs, anticipate next steps, and move projects forward with limited day-to-day oversight
  • Establish and maintain processes that create consistency, efficiency, and accountability across the marketing function
