About The Position

We’re looking for an analytically minded Senior Marketing Manager to take ownership of performance reporting, campaign analysis, and CRM initiatives across our growing national network. Reporting to the VP Marketing, you’ll be the person leadership turns to when they need clarity on how marketing is performing — by location, by campaign, and by initiative. This is not an agency-style role. We’re not looking for buzzwords or strategy decks. We’re looking for someone who wants to understand the business, improve performance, and help us make smarter decisions over time. If something looks off, you investigate. If you see an opportunity, you speak up. Ownership matters here. This role is primarily remote, with one day each week in the office for collaboration. Team members are welcome to come in more frequently if they prefer.

Requirements

  • A naturally analytical mindset — you enjoy digging into numbers, asking questions, and figuring out what’s actually driving results.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of your deliverables in a small, collaborative team.
  • Clear, straightforward communication — you make data accessible and actionable for non-marketing audiences.
  • Comfort with AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow, with thoughtful judgment about how and when to use them.
  • A builder’s mindset — you want to improve systems, not just maintain them.
  • 3–5+ years of marketing experience with exposure to performance marketing, analytics, and CRM systems. Comfort working with data is a must.
  • Experience building and interpreting marketing reports.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign measurement.
  • Experience creating and managing CRM or lifecycle campaigns; HubSpot experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms as part of daily work.
  • Comfort working independently within a small team
  • Clear communicator who values straightforward conversations.
  • Ability to travel to the Aurora, ON, head office once per week (conveniently located next to the GO station).

  • Experience working in a multi-location business is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain clear, reliable marketing reporting across all locations.
  • Conduct deeper analysis to understand performance drivers and identify trends tied to occupancy, lead flow, and conversion.
  • Track ROI and key metrics to support thoughtful budget decisions.
  • Review and validate reporting from external agencies to ensure accuracy.
  • Share insights and practical recommendations that help guide marketing decisions.
  • Use AI tools as part of your workflow to support analysis, reporting, research, and campaign planning — while maintaining strong judgment and data accuracy.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns across channels.
  • Work with the VP Marketing to turn business needs into structured, measurable plans.
  • Support location-specific initiatives in collaboration with operations teams.
  • Recommend improvements based on real performance data, not assumptions.
  • Build and manage win-back, upsell, and retention campaigns.
  • Develop drip campaigns and automated workflows.
  • Improve segmentation and targeting to better engage prospects and customers.
  • Support tracking across customer touchpoints to understand what drives action.
  • Review performance reporting from marketing partners and ensure alignment with our goals.
  • Provide practical, data-based feedback to external agencies and vendors.
  • Conduct market and competitive research when needed.
  • Support annual planning with performance insights and historical data.
  • Help identify long-term opportunities for smarter marketing investment.
