About The Position

As the Senior Marketing Manager, Engagement & Retention, Consumer Deposits, you will lead a dynamic team of marketing professionals and serve as a strategic advisor to the Consumer Deposit Products and Payments (CDPP) business. In this influential role, you will be a key partner to business leaders, leveraging your expertise to fully understand their strategic objectives, client needs, and product offerings. You will transform these insights into robust, integrated marketing strategies, harnessing both digital and direct-to-consumer channels. Your contributions will directly shape business operations and drive impactful decisions at the highest level. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies aimed at strengthening relationships with current deposit customers who are over one year of tenure at TD. Key accountabilities include designing and implementing multi-channel targeted customer marketing programs to drive engagement, loyalty, and retention, leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities for growth. You will lead initiatives that nurture and deepen customer relationships, monitor performance metrics to ensure effectiveness, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results and accelerate revenue and business expansion. Additionally, you will identify trends, anticipate customer needs, and proactively address challenges to maintain and grow a high-quality customer base. As a valued member of the department, you have deposits (or other consumer) marketing experience at a top bank, or financial services/marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies with a proven track record of successfully navigating large, complex organizations. You have supported marketing planning for the business with a comprehensive understanding of how the business operates to solve technical, operational, and business problems. You also have experience crafting compelling and insights-based presentations that you will deliver to executives. The Senior Marketing Manager is a top-level marketing expert that manages/leads development and/or execution of marketing large scope plans/programs/projects/strategies by designing and delivering complex marketing solutions/insights consistent with TD’s marketing standards and strategies, in support of business results, customer engagement and experience.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of customer and brand research techniques and ability to develop analyses and insights that will drive customer strategy formation and business decisions.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends.
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations.
