Labcorp is seeking a Specialty Marketing Executive (Outside Sales) to join their team in California. The territory for this position covers California’s Central Valley (Greater Fresno, Bakers Field, and San Luis Obispo). The ideal candidate would reside within the territory. This role involves driving new business, organizing an annual book of upsell business, and meeting sales growth goals. The executive will serve as a subject matter expert for Labcorp's testing solutions, build customer relationships through regular in-person visits, and act as a liaison between clients and Labcorp. Collaboration with Labcorp Clinical Sales counterparts is key for new business opportunities. The role requires staying updated on competitor activities, new products, industry trends, and utilizing market data for sales decisions. Regular updates to senior leadership on strategic initiatives and new business opportunities are expected, along with maintaining effective relationships with internal support departments. Travel logistics must be managed efficiently to maximize sales productivity. Attendance at professional trade shows and events, updating customer information in Salesforce.com, cold calling to build a sales pipeline, accurate forecasting, and maintaining a sales funnel are essential. The role also involves performing in-services and training, and collaborating with LCA counterparts on new business opportunities.
