OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Denver office and play a key role in advancing business development and marketing strategy. This position goes beyond production to actively support the development of proposal strategies, messaging, and market positioning for the office. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Senior Marketing Coordinator partners closely with studio leadership and marketing managers to lead proposal efforts, contribute to strategic pursuits, and elevate the quality and consistency of firmwide communications. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong editorial and communication skills, and is motivated to contribute to both the pursuit and storytelling aspects of winning work.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development (AEC industry experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, architecture or a related field preferred.
• Strong experience leading proposals and interview efforts, with an understanding of pursuit strategy.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced experience in InDesign.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and offices.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing Managers in managing the full proposal lifecycle, including coordinating assignments with technical staff and teaming partners.
• Collaborate with studio leadership to develop proposal strategies, key messages, and win themes.
• Participate in research and benchmarking efforts to help identify growth opportunities and inform marketing and business development strategies.
• Support business development initiatives that strengthen client relationships and expand market presence.
• Lead coordination, design, and production of RFP/RFQ responses and interview presentations.
• Conduct thorough quality reviews and provide advanced editing to ensure materials are clear, compelling, and error-free.
• Ensure all marketing materials align with Cooper Carry’s brand, voice, and editorial standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on proposal processes, tools, and best practices, helping to guide and mentor others.
• On an as-needed basis, serve as an in-house technical editor, collaborating with project teams to refine written content such as case studies and insights pieces
