About The Position
NVIDIA is seeking an accomplished map data validation lead to perform the validation of HD/SD map data, a vital component in autonomous driving, within our map release team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate extensive prior experience in the mapping field, possess deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy, and show outstanding ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies
- At least 6+ years of dedicated QA or operation experience in the area of map data validation
- A motivated individual capable of working autonomously with minimal direction
- Phenomenal team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- GIS background a phenomenal plus
- Extensive knowledge of HD map data verification protocols and techniques
- A self-starter that requires minimal direction
Responsibilities
- Develop overarching map data validation strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Identify gaps in the existing map data validation process and implement improvement measures across map release team
- Perform manual and automatic map data validation on a daily basis
- Train/support map release operators
