Requirements

  • 8 years operations leadership experience
  • 10 years’ experience working in a Manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience in strategic management, planning and execution.
  • Experience in attracting, retaining and developing others through personalized development plans with a track record of developing future leaders
  • A strong balance of analytical skills and action orientation to drive sustaining results with intensity
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Collaboration skills – able to effectively collaborate with peers in other functions and with colleagues in other businesses or divisions
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or Engineering. Masters preferred.
  • Knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, NPV/return on investment, and cost accounting principles desirable
  • Experience working in a regulated business environment (Aerospace, Medical, Food Industry, etc.)
  • Experience working with AS9100, ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
  • 6 Sigma Green Belt qualification

Responsibilities

  • Interact with all areas and levels of the organization, using a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving.
  • Work to motivate team members toward the common goal, deliver quality products to our customer’s on-time.
  • Lead the manufacturing strategy and execution related to customer fulfillment, budget, resource utilization, on time delivery and talent management.
  • Foster a strong safety culture.
  • Responsible for facilities, maintenance, and manufacturing operations across value streams in both plants.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all manufacturing leaders in their activities to ensure each facility is operating within budget; delivering key operational metrics, and providing a work environment that develops all members of the team.
