Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager

Requirements
- 8 years operations leadership experience
- 10 years’ experience working in a Manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in strategic management, planning and execution.
- Experience in attracting, retaining and developing others through personalized development plans with a track record of developing future leaders
- A strong balance of analytical skills and action orientation to drive sustaining results with intensity
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving
- Collaboration skills – able to effectively collaborate with peers in other functions and with colleagues in other businesses or divisions
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or Engineering. Masters preferred.
- Knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, NPV/return on investment, and cost accounting principles desirable
- Experience working in a regulated business environment (Aerospace, Medical, Food Industry, etc.)
- Experience working with AS9100, ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- 6 Sigma Green Belt qualification
Responsibilities
- Interact with all areas and levels of the organization, using a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving.
- Work to motivate team members toward the common goal, deliver quality products to our customer’s on-time.
- Lead the manufacturing strategy and execution related to customer fulfillment, budget, resource utilization, on time delivery and talent management.
- Foster a strong safety culture.
- Responsible for facilities, maintenance, and manufacturing operations across value streams in both plants.
- Provide leadership and direction to all manufacturing leaders in their activities to ensure each facility is operating within budget; delivering key operational metrics, and providing a work environment that develops all members of the team.
