About The Position

Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer supporting production of power control and power conversion systems and subsystems for the US Navy. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a key role in improving safety, quality, throughput, and cost while partnering closely with production, quality, supply chain, design engineering, and leadership. You’ll help bring new products into manufacturing, optimize existing processes, and mentor others through continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
  • Strong background in process development, continuous improvement, and manufacturing support
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and process validation
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material
  • Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, assembly methods, and production equipment
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and standard engineering/manufacturing software
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Support new product introduction by developing scalable, repeatable, and production-ready manufacturing methods
  • Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and throughput
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, routings, PFMEAs, and control plans
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and reduce recurring defects
  • Evaluate, select, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to improve manufacturability
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods
  • Use data to monitor process capability, identify trends, and recommend performance improvements
  • Support capital projects, layout improvements, and line balancing efforts
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across manufacturing initiatives
