About The Position
Our client in Medical manufacturing is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who will support New Product development projects. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Job requires an understanding and application of engineering knowledge.
Requirements
- University degree or extensive practical knowledge gained through at least 2 years of experience
- Experience with building and testing fixtures and equipment
- Experience authoring manufacturing documents
- Candidate should be able to efficiently manage supporting multiple projects and able to independently problem solve
- LabVIEW or TestStand experience
- Medical device experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing lines
Responsibilities
- Leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off the shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures
- Developing custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
- Authoring manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, PPAP documents
- Creating prints for components used for product repair
- Coordinating and troubleshooting incoming inspection / FAI of product components
- Setting up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection
