About The Position

InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a fulltime / permanent Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite 5 days a week in the Littleton, MA area. This is a hands-on, fixturing, tooling, prototype through production, and troubleshooting role. We need a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who likes designing and building solutions. Drive the transition from R&D to manufacturing — support design transfer and help ensure new, complex products move smoothly from prototype and pilot builds into production. Design and develop fixturing and tooling — create practical, innovative fixtures, jigs, tooling and manufacturing equipment for sophisticated electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical medical devices , with a strong focus on improving assembly and manufacturing processes. Improve how products are built — develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions and methods to improve quality, repeatability, efficiency and manufacturability. Be hands-on with prototype through production builds — troubleshoot manufacturing issues, support process development and validation, and implement improvements as products move into production. Collaborate across engineering and manufacturing — work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, technicians and outside vendors to resolve issues and develop effective manufacturing solutions. Make a direct impact on quality and cost — identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, yield and cost through better processes, tooling and fixturing. Work in a regulated medical-device environment — contribute to manufacturing processes and documentation within a GMP/FDA-compliant environment, with a focus on producing high-quality, reliable products. We are looking for both a Principal Lead and also a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Salary depends on experience and fit. $120K-$175K base range

Requirements

  • Hands-on, fixturing, tooling, prototype through production, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience designing and building solutions.
  • Experience in a regulated medical-device environment.
  • Experience with GMP/FDA-compliant processes and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical medical devices.
