About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Machining & Process Development to join our team in Pontiac, IL. This role is a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) group, supporting production processes and driving process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, high-tolerance manufacturing environment. The position reports to the Engineering Manager and works cross-functionally with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and process improvements, offering strong exposure to fuel systems production and hands-on process development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred and 8-10 years of relevant experience
Professional verbal and written communication, along with strong analytical skills
Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical reports
Experience in a manufacturing and machining environment
CNC programming and process development experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with hone, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding
Experience developing and maintaining automated cells

Responsibilities

Supports PCN (process change notice) activity, testing and validating process improvements
Works with operators to maintain processes, and prepares reports and process review documents
Supports daily operations within the manufacturing process
Partners with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and process improvements
Serves as a key member of the team supporting production processes
