Sr. Manufacturing Cost Accountant
About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring for a Direct Hire, Hybrid Schedule, Senior Manufacturing Cost Accountant in Taylor, TX. As a Sr. Manufacturing Cost Accountant, you will lead product costing and inventory valuation activities, analyze manufacturing costs and investigate cost variances, and partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve profitability and cost visibility. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, assist with physical inventory and cycle count programs, develop reporting and provide financial insights to plant leadership, and support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, with a hybrid schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Background supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in a mid-sized manufacturing environment.
