About The Position

The Senior Manufacturing Applications Engineer will lead the engineering, reliability, integration, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and enterprise application services. The role requires deep technical expertise and service leadership to sustain critical platforms, strengthen operational performance, and drive modernization across global manufacturing environments. The position is onsite in Troy, Michigan, and is offered as a contract (C2C/W2) with an immediate start.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in application engineering or services within manufacturing and enterprise systems.
• Strong ITSM expertise, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and SLA management.
• Expertise in application architecture, integration, ERP/SAP, cloud, APIs, middleware, and databases.
• Experience with MES/MOM, plant-floor systems, supply chain applications, and engineering applications.
• Proven leadership in global support, service improvement, and transformation initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive or discrete manufacturing background.
• Experience with SQL, .NET, or C#.
• Experience with cloud, DevSecOps, or SRE.
• ITIL or platform certifications.
