About The Position

This is a contract role for a Senior Manual QA Tester. The position requires the ability to design and execute manual test cases, analyze requirements, and document testing results. The role involves working with SQL for data validation and participating in the full software development lifecycle. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders is key, as is the ability to investigate and troubleshoot complex issues. A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple testing efforts are essential. The ideal candidate will have a consultative approach, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. Project oversight, adaptability, leadership, continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and strong communication skills are also important. Experience with AI tools and methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual test cases, ensuring alignment between requirements and system functionality
  • Analyze requirements and application behavior to identify gaps, defects, and areas for improvement
  • Document, track, and communicate testing results, defects, and overall quality status to cross-functional teams
  • Work with SQL to validate data integrity across databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Participate in QA processes across the full software development lifecycle, from planning through release
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues, providing clear and actionable insights
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail while managing multiple testing efforts and priorities
