The Revenue and Development team at Teach For America inspires donors and champions to contribute to shaping the future of our country by investing in Teach For America's mission. We aim to raise investments that fuel our work and impact with a revenue growth trajectory to raise $300 million annually. This role will be an essential part of the Field Fundraising arm of the Revenue and Development team, maximizing the contributions of local donors across multiple regions of the country. The Senior Managing Director, Advancement is responsible for translating regional fundraising strategy, priorities, and goals into the programs, tools, and experiences that local fundraising teams can deploy: events that build champions and generate revenue, communications that deepen donor investment over time, campaigns that are standardized enough to scale and flexible enough to fit local context, and operations that local fundraising teams need to stay focused on donors and execute with excellence. At the center of it all is a singular commitment: every donor who encounters TFA should have an exceptional experience that moves them from interest to investment, and from investment to enduring partnership in our movement. The SMD, Advancement serves as both a strategic architect and operational integrator: leading a team of specialists across these functions, working with a portfolio of roughly 20 regions across two development cohorts, and operating as a close strategic partner to their Vice Presidents of Field Fundraising and one peer Senior Managing Director, Advancement. Together, they will build the development center of excellence.
