Duolingo is seeking a Senior Workplace Manager to own strategy and operations for our Pittsburgh headquarters and build an environment that reflects our culture, strengthens community, and supports our people as we grow. :brain: You will... Own and evolve the workplace operations strategy for our Pittsburgh HQ (~500 employees), ensuring our spaces, services, and experiences align with business needs and Duolingo values. Lead and develop a high-performing team —including vendor(s), contractors, and internal staff—to deliver consistently exceptional service (e.g., Pittsburgh’s F&B program). Manage large-scale programs and budgets , balancing operational excellence with innovation, efficiency, and long-term scalability. Oversee complex projects , such as co-leading the Pittsburgh Under One Roof initiative and contributing to cross-site standards and programs in partnership with ESC peers. Act as a thought leader in workplace experience , continuously identifying trends and standard processes to enhance hospitality, sustainability, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. Represent the Pittsburgh site in company-wide planning, including strategic roadmap discussions, space forecasting, and business continuity initiatives. Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships with IT/AV, People, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and flawless workplace execution. Champion a culture of hospitality and inclusion , ensuring every employee and guest feels encouraged, supported, and connected to our mission.
