About The Position

The Senior Manager, Transportation acts as a change agent for the team, helping ensure organizational initiatives and solutions are successfully implemented, maintained, and improved. This role leads implementations and change management, analyzes business problems and solutions, coordinates plans and schedules with internal departments, and supports internal and external clients. The position is scheduled for 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with implementations in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Experience in transportation in a supply chain or distribution environment.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Working knowledge and experience with import and export regulations.
• Excellent planning, client support, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale implementations.
• Oversee and lead change management initiatives and provide continuing post-implementation support.
• Define business problems, identify solutions, and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Work with internal departments to develop documented implementation plans and schedules, assist with implementation, and provide post-implementation feedback and support.
• Conduct scheduled progress reviews on current projects.
• Provide customer support management for internal and external clients according to the customer management process, using tools such as action item lists and progress reports.
• Design and/or report methodology for ongoing operations.
• Ensure internal and external client issues are addressed in a timely manner.
