  • Proven ability to lead multiple engagement workstreams while managing client relationships, engagement economics, quality, and delivery.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational, technology, and IT transaction advisory engagements for private equity investors and their portfolio companies, serving as the engagement leader across multiple concurrent transactions.
  • Advise clients throughout buy-side transactions by assessing technology capabilities, operational maturity, organizational readiness, and business risks that influence investment decisions. Support sell-side and strategic corporate transactions where applicable.
  • Evaluate operating models, technology investments, digital capabilities, and organizational structures to identify operational risks and opportunities for value creation.
  • Translate diligence findings into actionable recommendations that strengthen investment theses, prioritize value creation opportunities, and inform post-close planning.
  • Partner with portfolio company leadership and cross-functional West Monroe teams to support targeted value creation initiatives and post-close engagements that build upon diligence findings.
  • Lead executive-level client discussions, facilitate management meetings, and present findings to investment teams, operating partners, and senior client stakeholders.
  • Own engagement scope, staffing, economics, quality, risk management, and delivery across multiple workstreams while coaching and developing high-performing consulting teams.
  • Drive the continued evolution of West Monroe’s Transaction Advisory Services methodologies, tools, and approaches to deliver differentiated value for clients.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
  • Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.
  • Develop trusted relationships with private equity investors, operating partners, and portfolio company executives while serving as a strategic advisor throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships across Transaction Advisory Services and the broader C&IP Value Creation platform.
  • Lead business development efforts including opportunity shaping, solution design, scoping, pricing, proposal development, and client presentations.
