About The Position

The Senior Manager, Trade Channel Strategy & Operations - Cell & Gene Therapy will support the design and execution of channel strategies and distribution models that enable timely, compliant access to Cell & Gene Therapy products. This role will partner across commercial, market access, pricing, supply chain, operations, legal, compliance, and external channel partners to optimize product distribution, strengthen order-to-cash operations, and advance innovative service models across the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of business-related experience required
  • pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing complex projects, and prioritizing resources in a matrixed environment preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align stakeholders around portfolio priorities, customer needs, and channel strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights, assess market dynamics, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of contracting processes and related regulatory, legal, and compliance considerations preferred.
  • Understanding of the health care ecosystem and the ability to translate market changes into adaptive strategies.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, executive communication, and change leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and apply new tools over time preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of trade channel, distribution, and operational strategies for the Cell & Gene Therapy portfolio to enable timely, compliant patient access and achieve business objectives.
  • Evaluate and design distribution models, specialty distributor networks, site-of-care strategies, and service solutions to support product launches, lifecycle management, and channel redesign.
  • Establish and govern CAR-T operational policies, business rules, and distribution processes; develop scalable solutions for emerging needs where standard processes do not exist.
  • Partner across Commercial, Market Access, Pricing, Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to drive launch readiness, program implementation, policy approvals, and exception management.
  • Oversee channel performance and order-to-cash operations to deliver a seamless, compliant customer experience for treatment centers and patients.
  • Assess complex channel and operational issues, including policy exceptions, distributor credit needs, contracted pricing, gross-to-net impacts, and business cases supporting leadership decisions.
  • Manage specialty distributor and channel partner relationships through business reviews, performance assessments, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, channel performance, and business metrics to identify opportunities and inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead trade research, vendor evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, and partner assessments supporting strategy development and operational excellence.
  • Influence decisions through executive communication and cross-functional leadership, translating complex market, operational, and access challenges into practical solutions.
