About The Position

Walmart is transforming its entire network to deliver to customers whenever and wherever they want. At the center of this transformation is an intelligent orchestration layer that receives millions of automated and manual inputs from across the enterprise. Its job is critical: determine exactly when a customer will receive their item (the Item Promise Date) and identify the most efficient, cost-effective delivery path to make that promise a reality. When a customer sees "Arrives by Tomorrow," it’s because Engine solved a thousand-piece puzzle in milliseconds. The Role: Business Lead We are looking for a high-impact business leader, a catalyst with "Ownership DNA" who doesn't just manage a queue but drives the business forward. You will be a key leader on the business team, ideating and delivering the post-transaction capabilities that drive customer acquisition, retention, and profitability for Walmart eCommerce.

Requirements

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
Option 2: 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

Operate within a strategic framework: Discovery: You are a visionary who seeks out "net-new" opportunities. You will identify gaps in our sourcing or promise capabilities, quantify the business impact, and independently build the Business Requirements.
Project Management: You are the "heartbeat" of your initiatives. You will partner deeply with Product and Tech teams, ensuring every stakeholder stays aligned with the original vision and hits every milestone from prototype to launch.
Root Cause Analysis: You will dive into the data to solve complex problems in real-time, developing sustainable solutions that improve our tech-focused sourcing capabilities.
Executive Communication: You will distill technical complexity into clear, high-level "so-whats." You’ll build enterprise-level story arcs for everyone from peers to board members, gaining buy-in with brevity and clarity.
