About The Position

Join the Walmart Omni Customer Growth team and help redefine how customers shop—both in-store and online. This role sits at the center of our Omni experience and is responsible for leading high-impact experimentation that drives measurable growth. As a Senior Manager focused on Experiment Design & Execution, you will own the end-to-end experimentation lifecycle—designing tests, defining measurement frameworks, analyzing results, and translating insights into action. You will partner closely with eCommerce, Product, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Revenue teams to ensure experiments are well-designed, statistically sound, and tied to clear business outcomes. This is a hands-on, highly analytical role. Strong SQL and Python expertise are required.

Requirements

  • deep experience designing and analyzing controlled experiments in a digital or omni environment.
  • highly proficient in SQL and Python (required) and use them daily for analysis and modeling.
  • strong foundation in statistics, economics, causal inference, or related quantitative fields.
  • Take a hypothesis-first approach and are comfortable working with ambiguity.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business,information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience inproject management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Experimentation Strategy & Execution Design and execute A/B and multivariate experiments to drive omni customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Define success metrics, guardrails, and measurement frameworks grounded in statistical rigor.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure clean test implementation and reliable data capture.
  • Own Measurement & Causal Analysis Apply statistical methods, causal inference techniques, and hypothesis-driven analysis to evaluate experiment impact.
  • Quantify incremental lift and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Establish best practices for experimentation design, analysis, and documentation across the team.
  • Deliver Data-Driven Insights Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
  • Build scalable analytical workflows and automate recurring reporting where possible.
  • Conduct deep dives into customer engagement, customer health, and operational performance metrics.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Impact Influence partners across eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to prioritize high-value tests.
  • Present clear, concise insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Operate as the voice of the customer, grounding decisions in data and measurable outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence Lead weekly/monthly business reviews related to experimentation performance.
  • Improve experimentation processes, documentation, and governance to scale impact.
