About The Position

IS Solutions is part of Comcast headquarters Finance and Accounting organization within Revenue Operations. The organization is responsible for delivering best-in-class billing solutions and services across all our Comcast Cable lines of business from ideation through execution; with a growth-minded, diverse, and skilled team. This role is within IS Solution’s Continuous Improvement team – focused on driving continuous improvement across the organization by aligning strategy, data and execution. This team’s vision is to drive consistent results through data driven decisions and flexible, outcome focused teams to scale people, process, and technology improvements across ISS in partnership with operational teams and partners across Comcast. This role provides hands on enablement and technical support for the citizen developer community across both AI and automation tools. The Senior Manager is expected to be a technical expert in AI and automation, leveraging their skills to lead upskilling, governance, mentorship, and direct hands on support. The Senior Manager is also responsible for the evaluation, identification, and ongoing technical oversight of the citizen toolkit, inclusive of server operations and technical governance. The role drives day to day execution of the citizen program and ensures developers are delivering value effectively in a well governance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the lifecycle of citizen automation and AI solutions, from intake and hands on support through technical enablement and governance compliance
  • Engaging with Business Partners and users to ascertain system requirements and providing hands on technical guidance and mentorship to citizen developers to accelerate and improve solutions in support of business needs
  • Leading a small, specialized enablement team alongside citizen developers by setting technical standards, best practices, and delivery expectations
  • Orchestrating the deployment of new technology updates and releases within the organization
  • Recruiting and cultivating high-performance citizen developers, developing technical capability through coaching, upskilling, and mentorship within the citizen enablement team and developer community
  • Owning technical decisions related to the definition and sustainment of the citizen technology toolkit and contributing to the management of the program’s budget
  • Setting clear expectations and accountability for the team in alignment with operational plans and business objectives
  • Developing operational and financial objectives, ensuring they are integrated with broader business goals
  • Handling web services, integration design and deploying relevant architecture associated with the citizen led toolkit
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
