About The Position

About the Team VIZIO is looking for a proactive and forward-thinking manager for our technical project management team to enhance existing operations and engineering projects. In this hands-on role, you will help manage a team of technical project managers who are embedded within interdisciplinary software engineering teams, helping ensure on-time and within-scope delivery. Requirements

Project Management experience
Prior experience in a leadership role.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
Option 2: 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Project Management.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 4 years’ experience in product design.

Responsibilities

Team Management: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate project managers, fostering a high-performing team environment.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management effectiveness.
Performance Reporting: Track team and individual performance, identify trends, and provide regular reports to management.
Risk Management: Serve as an escalation point for direct reports, working with external and internal leadership to resolve challenges and improve understanding.

The annual salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $242,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
