About The Position

Axon is hiring a Senior Manager, Tax Technology to own and evolve tax data management, reporting, and systems integration across its tax technology stack. The role manages the tax data mart in Snowflake, including SQL logic, table joins, and promotion of data from silver to gold layers, and defines a data strategy for tax reporting. It builds and maintains reporting layers to support accurate, consistent data between D365, Salesforce, Vertex O Series, and Sigma dashboards. The position also leads e-invoicing enablement and related system configuration, supports Vertex O Series administration and migration work, and uses AI and emerging technologies to improve workflows, documentation, research, and team productivity. Additional work includes reporting, testing, documentation, change management, and support for Alteryx workflows. The role partners across Tax, Finance, IT, and Business Systems, translating business and tax requirements into technical solutions and communicating technical constraints in actionable terms. It brings project-management discipline to cross-functional initiatives, including those with unclear or changing requirements, and supports global tax operations across manufacturing and SaaS business models. This position is hybrid and based near one of Axon’s US hubs in Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, or Scottsdale. Team members work onsite Tuesday through Friday and may work remotely on Mondays, unless an approved workplace accommodation applies.
