Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
7+ years of experience in public accounting (or similar experience)
Current and valid CPA, EA, JD, or LLM credential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Lead client engagements before the IRS, resolving complex issues related to examinations and appeals
Contribute to strategic initiatives to expand and enhance the Tax Controversy and Procedure practice.
Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation, service line development, and market expansion.
Spearhead internal and external knowledge-sharing efforts, contributing thought leadership on evolving and contentious tax matters.
Participate in industry forums, author technical insights, and support firm-wide training initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, high-impact tax solutions aligned with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Ensure seamless integration of controversy services with broader tax and advisory offerings.
Mentor and develop junior professionals, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on excellence and continuous learning.
Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and client satisfaction.
Demonstrate strong communication and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
