About The Position

David Yurman is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Talent to support execution of the brand’s celebrity relations and influencer relations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to execute high-impact talent plans for the brand. This role supports the management of our three tiers of VIPs.

Requirements

  • Expert in Influencer/celebrity/talent management, negotiations, and marketing
  • Expert in PR, talent, and communication, fashion, influencers and celebrities
  • Proficient in talent management and contract negotiations
  • Proficient in earned media and social media analytics tools and the ability to strategically assess and optimize analytics tools for David Yurman and optimize as needed (e.g. Launchmetrics, Triad, Muckrack, Cision, Brandwatch, Traackr, lefty, etc).
  • Proficient in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, Social Media, and Influencer Marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA, a plus).
  • Public Relations & Communications (including long lead, short lead, press relations with publications and editorial community, PR agency management, press event execution, etc), celebrity/VIP management, or brand communications, preferably in luxury or fashion.
  • Experience leading experiential events
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in analyzing performance metrics and driving actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to be both a thinker and a doer: can do attitude and ability to flex between being a leader and being an executer.

  • Experience working within a PR agency, a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA, a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Develop holistic talent strategy across three tiers (including talent selection, contract negotiations, budgets, execution of deliverables, and relationship mangement):
  • Tier 1: Ambassadors
  • Tier 2: Celebrities
  • Tier 3: Influencers and Creators
  • Lead identification of talent
  • Lead contract management of our partners
  • Lead influencer briefs that align with our national initiatives to drive mutual goals
  • Lead creator briefs and execution
  • Facilitate tracking of results and performance of deliverables
  • Facilitate gifting and loaning of products including packaging, shipment/fulfillment, tracking, and monitoring returns
  • Ability to manage and coach junior talent.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners including talent manager/agent/individuals, stylists,
  • Build strong internal Marketing partner relationships with Media, Social, Events, Marketing Strategy to integrate celebrity/ambassadors into campaigns and brand moments in an effective and efficient way
  • Build strong internal cross functional relationships with Merch, Ecomm, Sales etc to align marketing efforts with business objectives and uphold brand equity.
  • Track earned media value, influencer marketing performance against KPIs such as MIV, sales growth, and reach and engagement.
  • Focus on optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Extract insights from the brand/business performance, and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform future strategies.
  • Extract insights from market trends and competitive dynamics that guide future strategies.
