We are seeking a highly motivated and talented professional to join the Raytheon Talent Management team as a Senior Manager, Talent Management Enablement Excellence. Reporting to the Director of Talent Management, this role provides enterprise-wide oversight, thought leadership, and operational excellence across Raytheon’s talent management processes. This subject matter expert elevates how we design, govern, communicate, and execute talent management strategies, ensuring consistency, scalability, and executive-level quality across the business. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional critical thinking, anticipating and proactively executing talent management initiatives & councils, executive communication capability, strong project management capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to partner effectively across stakeholders while creating executive ready materials that influence decision making. This role is fast-paced, dynamic, highly visible, and critical to supporting Raytheon’s talent strategy.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree with 10 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 8 years of related experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading HR or Talent Management initiatives, including performance management, executive-level talent processes, succession planning, and large-scale projects.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, optimizing, and managing talent systems or processes with measurable impact at scale within a complex matrixed organization.
  • Experience delivering high-quality executive communications and presentation, including materials for senior business leaders and HR executives.
  • Experience overseeing multi-workstream projects, governance structures, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment at the enterprise level.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft O365 Suite and Workday; experience with digital enablement, Power BI, or analytics tools, and a curiosity for AI, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and business-unit level oversight for RTX and Raytheon talent initiatives, including talent inventory tools, executive talent actions, talent councils, top talent program nominations, performance impact cycles, individual development planning cycles, and mentoring.
  • Create, refine, and deliver executive-ready content for senior leadership forums, talent councils, talent reviews, including metrics ensuring clarity, insight and data-driven recommendations.
  • Architect and optimize scalable processes, frameworks, and operating mechanisms that drive consistency, predictability, and operational excellence across Talent Management.
  • Lead full life cycle project management for short- and long-term initiatives aligned to strategic business priorities, ensuring alignment, governance, and measurable impact.
  • Drive communication strategy for Talent Management, guiding the creation of compelling content that informs and influences executive leaders, HR business partners, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Own and enhance the rhythm-of-business for the Talent Management leadership team, ensuring seamless planning, prioritization, decision-making support, and operational guidance.
  • Conduct executive-level review and provide strategic feedback on Talent Management materials to ensure accuracy, insight, and completed staff work for senior leadership audiences.
  • Translate complex, ambiguous or evolving business needs into structure strategies, workstreams, and recommendations that support enterprise decision-making and accelerate execution.
