The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition (Retail) is accountable for the recruitment operations that support the strategic attraction and hiring of top talent for our Healthcare Business Units. As the leader of a focused team of Talent Acquisition professionals, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing timely recruiting strategies that create a healthy pipeline of top talent and support our Colleague Value Proposition. Reporting to the Senior Director, Pharmacy and Healthcare Talent Strategy, this individual will coach and mentor Talent Acquisition Colleagues that helps build the overall capability and maturity of the Talent Acquisition function to achieve best in class practices. In addition, the Sr. Manager will practice exemplary leadership, consultation and relationship management skills as he/she collaborates with HR and Business Leaders to monitor current and future Hiring Requirements, set priorities of recruiting activities, and advises the business on external labour conditions in our efforts to attract the best talent.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of progressive recruitment and leadership experience.
  • Post-secondary education in business, HR or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and implementing recruitment strategies and plans
  • Sourcing-strong understanding of “leading market” sourcing and recruitment techniques and methods; effective at identifying and sourcing passive candidates; strong direct sourcing
  • Experience with driving a social media presence and recruitment campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a large, fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Proven experience building reporting tools and managing performance metrics, looking at industry benchmarks, and process improvement.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and engaging a team.
  • Excellent client service skills with proven experience in building rapport at all levels of the business and ensuring service standards are met.
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical in rolling out practical recruitment programs.

  • CHRL or CHRM designation an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists across multiple business areas including International, Health and Wellness businesses.
  • Develop, mentor and foster continuous engagement and development within your team of direct reports, as well as with your peers across Talent Acquisition.
  • Build flexible and sustainable recruitment strategies to support business growth
  • Establish sufficient talent pipelines in high priority areas and roles, while ensuring an engaging and memorable candidate experience.
  • Partner with the business, Talent Strategy COE and HR Business Partnering’s to build an outstanding candidate experience
  • Support on the client specific Colleague Value Propositions and Branding to support attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Support planning and execution of networking events with schools and appropriate organization to promote the brand and build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Build solid relationships and partnerships with our hiring managers and Senior leadership teams and develop sourcing strategies to support the business.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of our campus recruitment process, and build partnerships with the team to complete early talent strategies.
  • Track and drive performance excellence in recruiting and candidate experience metrics to support business decisions.
  • Ensure the accuracy of weekly/quarterly reporting for each business unit, and present to senior management where required.
  • Lead full recruitment cycle recruitment focusing on requisitions within the business unit you support.
