About The Position

The GBTA Foundation is at the center of a $1.57 trillion global industry at a critical inflection point, uniquely positioned to align corporate travel buyers, suppliers, and partners to drive meaningful, pragmatic progress on climate action and industry transformation. As the business travel sector faces increasing pressure to decarbonize, operate more sustainably, and adopt shared standards, the need for coordinated, practical, and scalable solutions has never been greater. The Senior Manager, Sustainability Program plays a critical role in translating this industry ambition into action. This position leads the development and delivery of high-impact sustainability initiatives, tools, and partnerships that enable organizations to measure, manage, and reduce emissions across the business travel ecosystem. This is a highly visible, externally facing role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The Senior Manager will work across a global network of stakeholders — including corporate travel buyers, suppliers, policymakers, industry partners and the GBTA team — to drive alignment, influence outcomes, and accelerate adoption of sustainable practices. The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative program leader who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, build trusted relationships, and translate technical sustainability topics into clear, compelling narratives that drive action. They are comfortable designing new initiatives from the ground up, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to the Foundation’s broader mission to advance sustainable, future-ready business travel.
