About The Position

This position is responsible for leading end-to-end supply planning for an assigned business, including direct leadership and development of a team of Supply Planners. It establishes production and inventory strategies that balance service, distressed inventory, capacity constraints, and cost. The role monitors daily supply risks and proactively manages shortages, distressed inventory, and service impacts while ensuring stakeholders remain aligned. It provides analytical support and recommendations through capacity planning and analysis, and inventory insights to inform business decisions. This role works with Plant Scheduling and cross functional teams to solve issues. It also maintains and optimizes planning system parameters and data accuracy to support execution and decision-making, while contributing to budgeting, continuous improvement initiatives, and long-term planning processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4+ years of progressive supply planning or supply chain experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using supply planning systems, including SAP and IBP.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable business plans.
  • Skilled at making timely, fact-based decisions while balancing competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional discussions and driving alignment across teams.
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed of key issues and decisions.
  • Experience managing and developing Supply Planners or similar roles.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
