The Senior Manager Supply Chain plans, organizes, and manages the procurement of all materials, equipment, and services necessary for repair, overhaul, and manufacturing. This role ensures the efficient movement of materials required for meeting schedules of assigned programs. The manager reviews supplier proposals for price, delivery time, and quality, and then selects the supplier. They monitor cost, schedule, and performance factors of suppliers and programs to ensure adherence to budgets and customer requirements. The role involves researching and developing sources of supply for required commodities, evaluating material shortages, and determining appropriate inventory levels. Directs material procurement and program scheduling activities through the use of a computerized ERP System. Monitors and assures efficient flow of inbound customer repairable items for work, efficient receipt of purchased material, inventory management, and shipment of product.
