About The Position

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to lead sourcing and supplier management initiatives including, but not limited to engineering, product development and technical operations. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing key supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving operational efficiencies across corporate and business operations spend categories. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal, Engineering, and Operations. This individual will establish scalable procurement processes, improve spend visibility, mitigate supplier risk, and drive measurable value creation as Credo continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management experience.
  • Five years of leadership experience.
  • Significant semiconductor industry experience supporting engineering, technical, manufacturing, R&D, technology, or product development organizations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable cost savings and negotiating complex agreements.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • CPSM, CIPS, CPM, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Coupa, NetSuite or other similar procurement systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers and technology partners.
  • Lead negotiations involving software, professional services, staffing, facilities, benefits, and other corporate services.
  • Conduct supplier business reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Legal to negotiate commercial terms, data privacy provisions, liability clauses, and risk management protections.
  • Lead contract renewal and vendor consolidation initiatives.
  • Develop supplier risk management and business continuity strategies.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with Credo's growth objectives, technology roadmap, and financial goals.
  • Build and lead a category management framework for engineering and technical spend categories.
  • Lead competitive sourcing events, supplier selection activities, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract negotiations.
  • Drive measurable cost savings, productivity improvements, and supplier-driven value creation initiatives.
  • Establish sourcing governance, procurement policies, and spend management best practices.
  • Develop multi-year sourcing roadmaps and category strategies that support business expansion.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product Development teams to source and manage: EDA/CAD software and engineering applications, Cloud computing and development infrastructure, Semiconductor test equipment and laboratory systems, Product validation and reliability testing services, Engineering development hardware, Technical consulting and engineering services, Capital equipment supporting product development and qualification activities.
  • Align sourcing strategies with future technology requirements and product development plans.
  • Evaluate total cost of ownership, supplier capabilities, technology differentiation, and supply risk when making sourcing decisions.
  • Support engineering organizations in selecting suppliers that accelerate innovation while maintaining cost discipline.
  • Develop procurement policies, approval workflows, and sourcing governance standards.
  • Improve spend visibility and reporting through analytics and procurement technologies.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and spend management initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary procurement advisor across corporate functions.
  • Build, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual, team, and organizational objectives.
