About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Sourcing and Procurement to lead and execute the strategic vision for our companywide sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring they reflect our culture, meet our business objectives, and support our employees. The role will drive cost-optimization initiatives, strengthen supplier partnerships, and deliver operational excellence at scale. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Manager will oversee one full-time employee and work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Security, HR and Legal to scale Everlaw’s infrastructure. This is a full-time exempt position based in our Oakland, California office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, with experience managing direct reports or external contractors.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing talent and partnering with internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Experience negotiating large contracts.
  • Experience in sourcing strategy, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and cost optimization.
  • Support budget owners in spend analysis and cost-saving initiatives, establish key performance metrics, and deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong ability to influence and partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Security, HR, and Legal at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing operational excellence with execution.

  • Experience managing a full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement and sourcing functions, fostering a culture of operational excellence and strong partnerships across the business.
  • Manage key sourcing relationships across our corporate services.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership to implement and optimize the procurement and sourcing roadmap.
  • Build strong relationships with Finance, IT, Security, HR, and Legal stakeholders to ensure initiatives are well-integrated and supported across the organization.
  • Develop and execute a procurement program that supports business needs, drives cost efficiency, and enables scalability.
  • Lead vendor selection and negotiations, securing favorable terms while ensuring supplier reliability, performance, and compliance.
  • Manage the SaaS lifecycle and spend, including vendor intake, license optimization, and renewal management.
  • Implement strategies to optimize spend while maintaining quality and adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Oversee procurement systems and reporting to streamline processes and deliver visibility into spend and performance metrics.
  • Provide sourcing and contract negotiation support for Corporate Services, including Facilities, and Professional Services. This involves leading cross-functional teams from strategy development through contracting and implementation.
  • Define and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and internal client satisfaction while ensuring compliance and mitigating supplier risk.
