About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a deeply technical engineering manager to lead the core team building an agentic engineering system for safety-critical systems software. The platform will combine AI agents, systems engineering, deterministic validation, security, and functional-safety practices to translate precise specifications into production-ready C/C++ and Rust software, continuously validate the results, and provide evidence to support release decisions. The role will prove the platform against real driver-development work and scale successful approaches across Graphics, Camera, Multimedia, PVA, and other DRIVE OS teams. The position combines technical leadership, architecture and strategy, team development, and creation of dependable engineering workflows for complex systems software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of overall software engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale, complex software projects.
  • Strong understanding of safety-critical system development and relevant industry standards, such as ISO 26262 or DO-178C.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and partnership skills for productive work with different teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading development of graphics, display, camera, multimedia, networking, storage, kernel, or other production driver software.
  • Experience building developer platforms, autonomous engineering systems, or multi-agent infrastructure adopted across multiple production software teams.
  • Significant contributions to agentic systems, systems software, developer tools, safety/security engineering, or open-source ecosystems.
  • Experience with NVIDIA DRIVE OS, QNX, automotive software, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, formal verification, or safety- and cybersecurity-evidence pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of driver-software engineering, including concurrency, memory safety, ABI and platform boundaries, hardware/firmware interaction, debugging on target, performance, compatibility, CI, and release engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a core team building safety-ready agentic workflows for complex C/C++ and Rust systems software and drivers.
  • Define the architecture and technical strategy for workflows spanning specification, design, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, validation, review, and release.
  • Build agents and workflows for feature implementation, defect diagnosis and repair, regression analysis, refactoring, test development, performance optimization, and compatibility analysis.
  • Develop harnesses, skills, tools, evaluations, deterministic validators, observability, and feedback loops to make agentic development dependable and continuously improving.
  • Create an engineering culture emphasizing invention, intellectual honesty, technical depth, measurable evidence, and high quality.

Benefits

  • Competitive salaries and a generous benefits package.
  • Eligibility for equity and benefits.
