As a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering, you will guide an impactful team of engineers specializing in modern healthcare solutions. Requirements

  • Proficient experience guiding engineering teams and managing technical software delivery workflows.
  • Skilled background developing distributed backend systems running in modern cloud environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with JVM-based languages like Kotlin or Java and cloud architectures.
  • Deep commitment to cultivating a cooperative, team-oriented environment focused on learning.
  • Strong track record utilizing automated CI/CD practices and collaborative version control tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, or Epic integrations.
  • Understanding of event-driven software architecture patterns utilizing Kafka or MongoDB tools.
  • Experience with blob storage management and orchestrating data flows at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop a collaborative team of software engineers to achieve goals.
  • Guide the design of cloud-native, distributed microservices using Kotlin Spring Boot and event-driven patterns.
  • Collaborate with product and design partners to refine impactful clinical workflows.
  • Cultivate high code quality through automated workflows and robust peer code reviews.
  • Champion standard clinical data practices utilizing modern FHIR and HL7 interoperability frameworks.
  • Foster a dedicated team culture focused on psychological safety, innovation, and continuous growth.
