The Senior Manager, Software Engineering for Room and Collaboration Tech lead the design, development, and operation of enterprise-scale digital platforms that power reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. This role partners closely with product, infrastructure, data, and operations teams to deliver high-impact systems while building strong engineering talent and driving modern software practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years leading managers and/or multiple teams in a large-scale environment
  • Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations
  • Deep understanding of reliability, observability, incident management, and automation-driven operations
  • Ability to balance long-term platform investments with near-term delivery and business outcomes
  • Demonstrated success building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • OR 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences.
  • Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple software engineering teams responsible for building and operating critical DIAS platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security at enterprise scale.
  • Define and evolve system architecture, integration patterns, and engineering standards that enable scalability, resilience, and rapid innovation across distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Operations leaders to align roadmaps, prioritize outcomes, and deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure strong operational rigor through SRE practices, telemetry, automation, CI/CD maturity, and proactive incident prevention, with clear ownership of service health and outcomes.
  • Hire, coach, and develop high-performing engineers and engineering managers while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
